Do you really train people online? How does that work?

Yes, I coach 100% virtually. I meet clients for workouts and coaching sessions over Zoom and provide them with an app where they can track their exercise, nutrition, and healthy habits, so we can keep you on track toward your goals, no matter where you are!

What's the difference between personal training and accountability coaching?

All of my personal training packages include 60-minute coached workouts over Zoom. I also provide personal training clients with a comprehensive plan tailored to their goals and unique needs that includes nutrition, independent exercise, and other healthy lifestyle habits. I also offer accountability coaching, for clients who are looking for a plan but are more self-motivated to execute it, and don't need my guidance with exercise form and pacing to reach their goals. We meet for 30 minutes every other week to celebrate your wins and work through what's getting in your way. Not sure which fits? That's exactly what a free consultation is for — you can apply here.

Do I need equipment or a gym?

Most of what we do can be done at home with little or no equipment, and I will tailor your workouts to utilize whatever you have — a couple of dumbbells, resistance bands, or just your bodyweight. If you do have gear or a gym, wonderful; we'll use it. But no, you don't need anything fancy to get a great workout!

I'm not athletic and haven't worked out in years. Is this really for me?

Yes! You are exactly who I love working with. I know first hand how overwhelming it can feel trying to figure out where to get started and what to do to get results. No matter what your starting point, I will meet you where you are, with zero judgment, and help you find the next small step to get you to your goals. You don't need to be fit to start — you start in order to get fit.

What are your credentials?

I'm an ACE (American Council on Exercise) Certified Personal Trainer, Group Fitness Instructor, Sports Nutrition Specialist, Behavior Change Coach, and Oh Baby! Fitness® Pregnancy and Postpartum Exercise Instructor. And just as importantly, I've walked the path myself, losing 150+ pounds and keeping it off by treating health as a lifelong practice.

Can you help with my specific situation — like losing weight for my cousin's wedding, preparing for a hike in Yosemite, improving my balance, building muscle mass while on GLP1 medication, or safely starting exercise after giving birth?

Yes! In fact, the more specific your goal is, the easier it is for us to craft an effective plan and measure your progress toward it.

What's included when I work with you?

Beyond our face-to-face meetings over Zoom, you get a comprehensive plan tailored to your goals and unique needs that includes nutrition, independent exercise, and other healthy lifestyle habits. I also check in between meetings to celebrate your wins and help you think through obstacles. All of my training and coaching packages are designed to last at least three months — long enough for you to see and feel real results and establish healthy habits.
